About the Item

A beautiful and most unique Italian early 18th century Louis XIV period Tuscan st. ebonized Fruitwood and giltwood side/center table. The rectangular table is raised by exceptional turned legs with most decorative mottled giltwood accents and block supports with topie shaped finials and mottled feet each connected by a superb H shaped stretcher decorated in the same manner. The apron displays striking scalloped designs also decorated with beautiful giltwood topie shaped finials. The ebonized Fruitwood top showcases the warm wood grain with an elegant giltwood border.
