Italian 19th Century Louis XVI Style Eight Leg Oval Center Table from Naples
About the Item
A beautiful and most unique Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated, mecca and faux painted marble eight leg oval center table from Naples. The table is raised by eight most decorative patinated and mecca circular tapered fluted legs with fine foliate feet and carved acanthus leaf top caps. Above each leg are block rosettes centering richly carved floral and foliate mecca patterns set on a patinated background. The frieze displays a carved block patterned mecca band and decorative mecca fillets. Above is a wonderfully executed faux painted marble top. All original mecca.
