About the Item
Opulent Italian solid bronze gueridon or center table made in the grand Baroque taste. The table features a lacquered parcel gilt finish with a desirable aged patina. Each side is centered with a large cartouche embellished with gilt acanthus sprays having rocaille finials. The elegant scrolled legs are conjoined by a cross stretcher centered by a rocaille shell form finial. The base is very heavy and solid weighing over approximately 200 pounds and topped with a thick, round pane of glass having a beveled edge. The table would support any size stone or marble top upgrade. The table is finished on all sides perfect for a grand entry or foyer. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship seldom seen today.

This particular center table is made of golden and lacquered in ochre finely carved wood with rich floral decorations.
