About the Item
This is an old Japanese low table.
Originally, there was a box at the top of this, and it was used to store and transport household goods called "Nagamochi", and it was actively used in the Edo period.
The top is removed so that it can be used as a table.
The wheels and legs at the bottom are hand-carved using heavy zelkova, and it can be seen that they were made by very skilled craftsmen at the time.
The top plate is made of pine, and the whole is a natural black color with soot and a matte texture.
With a simple structure and design, you can create a beautiful silhouette in the space.
The top plate can also be used widely, so it is recommended for center tables, sofa tables, etc.
