We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning, early Victorian circa 1840 hand carved English Pollard oak centre table
A very good looking well made and decorative piece, hand carved in solid pollard oak, the legs are nicely turned with ebonised bands in the Aesthetic movement style, this would have been used as a centre table in a Gothic Revival library, it's very Pugin by design and wouldn't look out of place in the Palace of Westminster, it has four large drawers and is a very good looking and functional piece
Condition wise the piece has been fully restored by my French polisher and is in the best possible condition it could be
