1960s Rare Studio-Made Coffee Table in Black Walnut by Rude Osolnik
About the Item
This is a studio-crafted, round walnut coffee table by American woodturner Rude Osolnik. The piece was acquired directly from the estate of Rude Osolnik, and the table formerly resided in the designer's own home. Osolnik was an important post-war American craftsman, and Queen Elizabeth was even presented with one of his bowls as a gift from the US Government. He mostly produced smaller pieces such as candle sticks and bowls, but he also made some furniture. This table by Osolnik is guaranteed as authentic.
The piece measures 44 inches in diameter, and stands 17.25 inches tall. This piece is in fantastic shape, with very little wear apparent. The walnut has been freshly maintained, and it is evident that it has been well taken care-of. Overall, this table is in excellent condition. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost.
