Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely exquisite circa 1860-1880 hand made in Italy marble and hand carved giltwood coffee or cocktail table with thick marble top

A very well made and good looking table. The marble top is extremely thick and beautifully veined, it is from the same period as the base so around 140-160 years old, it is really quite wonderful. The table base has aged with style and charm, the patina is exquisite and everything you would hope to find on an original Italian example, the gilding is mixed silver and gold leaf and is truly wonderful
Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it, it’s in excellent period condition throughout, there is one chip in the marble that I can see in the front left corner, there may be more but I can't see any, the woodwork has aged and is patinated as mentioned
