Design
The table is built on a hand-forged metal frame with a deliberate silvered patine finish. Light interacts with the surface in varied ways thanks to its antique mirrored top, made of individual panels that show age, oxidation, and surface wear—each adding to its quiet richness. Four tapered legs connect with an elegantly curved stretcher, giving the whole piece both poise and structure. The mirrored glass softens the metallic base, adding a layer of depth and reflection that shifts depending on angle and light. Construction details are executed with care, with joints and contours that reveal the table’s artisanal origin. It recalls the decorative language often associated with the Parisian interior ateliers of the mid-century, yet avoids pastiche by remaining understated.
