C. 1960s Treitel Gratz Polished Stainless Steel Coffee Table with Glass Top
About the Item
This is a Custom Polished Stainless Steel coffee table, produced by Treitel Gratz in the 1960s. This piece came directly from the private collection of Gratz Industries, formerly Treitel Gratz. Its sculptural construction is formed from solid steel, and it has a thick glass top. The particular designer is unknown at this time, though it was undoubtedly made by Treitel Gratz. Gratz Industries is an important American metal fabricator, having discreetly worked in concert with some of the best-known industrial designers and artists in the USA. Since 1929, Gratz has been an industry leader in the conception and realization of architectural metal, furniture, sculpture, and objects.
This coffee table measures 36 inches deep, 36 inches wide, and is 17.5 inches high. The piece is in excellent condition, showing a light patina on the steel. Please see photos.
