Very beautiful and decorative wrought iron coffee table with a magnificent top in old Versailles parquet from the late 17th - early 18th century.
Versailles parquet (or “Versailles-style”) is a type of parquet, made up of pre-assembled square wooden panels, presenting a pattern of interlaced diagonals.
Versailles parquet takes its name from the patterns that compose it, inspired by the parquet flooring of the Château de Versailles in France.
The parquet floor was mounted, in the 20th century, on a black wrought iron metal frame which brings a lot of modernity while leaving an important place and highlighting the elegance and antiquity of the 17th century Versailles parquet panel. The panel is made of oak.
The style of this charming table can adapt to antique, bohemian, industrial, Scandinavian and even modern/contemporary interiors.
