Emilio Ambasz Leather & Glass "NuAGE" Coffee Table for Poltrona Frau

For your consideration is this rare, all original "NuAGE" coffee table designed in 1999 by architect, Emilio Ambasz for Poltrona Frau featuring a 1.5 cm thick tempered glass top, thick asymmetrically flared legs with luxurious black leather upholstery, and original Poltrona Frau paper label with date and serial number. The level of Poltrona Frau's craftsmanship and attention to detail are remarkable and give this table a rare, luxurious presence. This is a rare retired design of which few were produced.

    Wear consistent with age and use. No significant or egregious flaws. All original with no missing, replaced, or repaired parts. Glass has a few light scratches commensurate with age. No chips or deep gouges. Leather is in excellent condition with a few light, faint scuffs, no tears.

Luigi Massoni was one of the greatest Italian designers of the 20th century. Born in Milan in 1930, he studied architecture at the University of Milan before starting his career in design. In the summer of 2019 Lifestyle Design was born, which in addition to Poltrona Frau includes Cassina, Cappellini, Zanotta, Ceccotti Collezioni, Janus et Cie, Luminaire, Karakter, Interni and Luxury Living Group.
