About the Item
A spectacular table top composed of a thick slab of natural amethyst with a highly polished top raised on twin polished specimen fossil slab pedestals.
The exquisite thick slab has been finely polished on one side with rough natural edges around giving it incredible naturalistic visual appeal with a dramatic and colorful presentation.
Provenance: Purchased from the Collier Gwin Gallery, Lexington Ave. Armory from a member of the Art and Antique Dealers League of America / Member of the Antique Dealers Association of California.

Condition: Please see detail photos. The table top has many naturally occurring fissures I the Amethyst which add to the particularly extraordinary natural presentation.
Special note: The top is this table is quite heavy and is in a custom crate. It weighs over 300 lbs and requires 3-4 professional movers.
