Frederick C. Boger Brass and Travertine Coffee Cocktail Table
About the Item
This custom-made coffee or cocktail table was designed by Chicago architect, Industrial designer, and furniture maker Frederick C. (Fred) Boger. The brass base is beautifully made with thick disk feet and X-stretchers that intersect with a cube. The natural crevices in the travertine are unfilled. The top is supported by a square plywood panel which is attached to the base. The top is attached to the plywood with some type of adhesive.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. some surface marks and scratches, the top is adhered to the plywood part of the base, the corners of that plywood support show under the edge of the top from certain angles.
