This antique low table was crafted in the Meiji Era (1868–1912). Made entirely of zelkova wood (keyaki), the table showcases a richly textured surface that has deepened in character over time. In traditional Japanese living spaces, furniture was designed for floor-seated use, which is why this table has a lower height than Western-style tables.
