About the Item

This Mid-Century Modernist Black Lacquer, Gilt-wood, & Brass Cocktail Table W/ Vitrolite Top originates from France, Circa 1945. This piece features excellent composition and materials, with a black lacquer surface and gilt-wood pyramidal detailing lining the corners and edges of the top section of the table. The supports taper downwards with precisely achieved fluted detailing and brass sabots, pairing beautifully with the other materials and protecting the legs. The inset top is in vitrolite, creating a nice reflective contrast in relation to the black lacquer detailing on the remainder of the surface. A striking piece, this cocktail table will style well with a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Mint Restored Condition.
