Mid-Century Partial Gilt Wrought Iron Coffee Table Attributed to Raymond Subes

About the Item

Elegant French Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical wrought iron cocktail table attributed to Raymond Subes. The piece presents a pure form in classic styling that bridges modernism and classicism with a trend setting, minimal aesthetic. The table has a classic X-frame leg structure ending with ball shaped gilt iron feet and the table apron is adorned with four gilt iron ringlets. The piece is currently shown with an inset glass top but this table will accommodate a stone or marble top very well. Additional References: Gilbert Poillerat, Edgar Brandt, Andre Arbus, Marc du Plantier, Emille-Jacques Ruhlmann
