Ceramic top with pleasing modulations and contrasts between colors (Off-white, gray, amber, and gold), textures (smooth, rough), linings (texture lines, designed lines, and grout lines), geometric patterns (within and between tiles), and tile sizes. The very best in ceramic coffee tables, Roger Capron had to offer. Ceramic tiles are made of lava, which is lighter in weight, supporting all the variations mentioned above. Moreover, each tile was shaped and flattened by hand, a first for Mr Capron's work. Mr Capron built up his company from 1 to 120 employees from 1946 to 1982.
