Paolo Buffa (1903-1970) , Console in Walnut, rosewood veneer and silvered brass, Italy 1930s Very rare console designed by Paolo Buffa and exhibited for the first time at the IV International of Decorative, Industrial and Modern Art in Monza in 1930. The material execution was the responsibility of one of the most important cabinet makers of the time, Paolo Lietti e Figli Cantù (Milan ). It is a very refined piece of furniture, both in materials and design, which boasts numerous authoritative publications and still represents one of the icons of the best Italian style today.
