Large Biedermeier Writing Table Early 19th Century Bird's-Eye Maple Veneer
About the Item
An unusually large desk, even suitable for two working spaces at a time. The rounded rectangular top with a tooled black leather writing surface above four frieze drawers, two to each side, on downswept legs with brass caps and casters.
The light bird's-eye maple veneer is contrasted by ebonized details. This writing table would work great in the atmosphere of a library and in its clear Biedermeier design goes well with even a modern interior.
