19th Century Walnut Writing Table with Carved Family Crest, Spain

About the Item

Walnut writing table from Spain with decorative turned harp shaped legs and iron scrollwork stretcher. Note the handsome central carved family crest and the words, "De Los Otal." The attractive rich, deep patina is the result of generations of use. While reflective of age, the old cracks and gnarls in the top do not impact stability as the table is ready for use. Restored, strong and stable. All scratches, cracks, dings, stains (see top) and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this handsome table.
