Antique Chippendale Style Writing Table
About the Item
A very well made 19th Century Two Drawer Writing Table suitable as a desk or console. Peg constructed with dove-tailed drawers, brass batwing pulls and angle cut legs all in a fine satin polish. Very solid feeling with seemingly simple lines that are in fact quite elegant and refined.
Dimensions: 47.5” wide by 22” deep by 28.75” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include rubs, impressions, a sun fade circular round mark to the top, ink marks, some lighter scratching to the top surface as well as a diagonal burn mark to the left side drawer all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is, as mentioned above, refined and very desirable.
