Ca. 1910, Limberts Dutch Arts & Crafts Furniture Co. Writing Desk
About the Item
Limbert Furniture Co. of Holland, Michigan quarter sawn white oak classic Arts & Crafts style writing desk circa 1910. The desk features a rectangular top overhanging three drawers with large beautifully crafted paned square Copper knobs. Raised on sturdy rectangular legs with curved corner brackets leading to an H-stretcher acting as an open lower shelf. The stretcher lends attractive tenon joints to the legs, echoing the form of the knobs.
The desk is set atop contemporary 2" desk riser blocks to elevate the writing surface. The blocks can be removed.
