About the Item
An absolutely stunning and iconic Danish boomerang desk by Peter Lovig Nielsen. This was made in Denmark by Hedensted Møbelfabrik, it dates from the 1960’s.
The quality is outstanding, this has an exceptionally beautiful and useful design. The boomerang shaped top offers lots of work space and also offers lots of space in the knee hole area to fit a good sized desk chair. The grain patterns and colour tones are stunning, this has the best colours and grain that you could hope to find. There is plenty of storage space in the three drawers, there is also an open shelf section at the back, with a drop down mirrored back cabinet on the side of the back. Inside the top drawer there is a sliding tray that can move back and forwards to store stationary. This stands on beautifully designed stretchered legs which have brass connectors.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout.
