This is a stunning, absolutely massive and extremely well-appointed kingwood and rosewood desk. The desk dates to the 1880s era and is in good condition for its age, but will show minor age cracks, veneer losses and signs of age that come from use and age but nothing serious that would bother most antique mavens who understand what they are looking at. The desk is absolutely magnificent and features superb bronze ormolu and constrasting woods. The leather top is in good condition and has been replaced recently. The desk is French.
