About the Item
Rare and Unusual Antique English hand-carved solid mahogany and leather top Campaign Writing Table or Desk with kidney-shaped drop leaves or flaps. The desk has a flip-top fitted rear with stationary slots, pen tray, double glass inkwells with brass lids all neatly concealed at the rear of the top beneath a hand carved fan. The desk retains its original "Aesthetic Movement" pierced brass handles, original brass casters and a likely later-replaced tooled and gilt edge leather writing surface.
A truly original and unique small scaled writing table.
