A smart and tailored Sheraton correspondence desk in figured satinwood having a multi-drawer casement with letter slots covered by a retractable curved tambour door in alternating strips of satinwood and rosewood, over two rosewood crossbanded drawers with original double ring pulls, standing on elegant tapered legs ending in brass feet, with string inlay and more contrasting crossbanded highlights throughout. An attractive, easy to place and useful piece of furniture.
