Vintage Custom Floating Lucite, Glass, Steel And White Lacquered 2 Drawer Desk
About the Item
This amazing vintage custom made sensational floating desk with 2 white lacquered drawers with chrome round pulls has a recessed glass top that floats on steel pegs around the entire desk.
The 2 part lucite sides come together with a steel round disk at the center in the back. The 2 white lacquered drawers float on the left side with chrome knobs. The radius lucite portion is sculptural. It is in the style of Karl Springer. The height of the lucite portion is 30" H.and the glass insert top is 28.5" H. The distance between where the glass sits on the steel pegs on the glass top is 1" H.It does not get better than this desk as a piece of floating sculpture and a large surface area. We believe this is one of a kind desk. it is light, airy and modern. From the 70's. Chic, sophisticated and not another one around.
