Mid-20th Century Wengé Dining Table with 8 Matching Chairs Jules Wabbes style
About the Item
Beautiful large round wenge dining table with 8 matching chairs in the style of Jules WABBES. The table can be extended with two original leaves. If there are 6 chairs at the table, everyone is more spacious. The 8 chairs are especially useful when the table is used in an extended version. This set is made of wenge wood, the chairs are made of solid wengé wood and the table top is made of veneered wengé.
The chairs have a striking cubic shape, with simple clean lines. The seats are covered with a light yellow fabric. Any reupholstery is quite easy. The table has steel accents on the legs. The table is removable in different parts; the tabletop is one part, the leg consists of two parts. That makes it easy to move on this large table. The chairs have the original upholstery on the original springs, some chairs need the springs to be re-done. The table top have light scratches on the surface. The varnish on 3 placed worn of, see pictures
