About the Item

D. Maria-style extendable table in vinhático. Composed of two semicircular tops which, when joined together, form a round table. The model has a clean-lined structure with a smooth top resting on straight, slightly tapered legs. The table has two central extensions, allowing its length to be extended and adapting to different usage needs, from more intimate meals to gatherings with a larger number of guests. The formal simplicity and elegance of the proportions are reminiscent of the neoclassical aesthetic of the D. Maria I period (late 18th and early 19th centuries), in which sobriety and the valorisation of noble wood predominated. Vinhático wood gives the set a warm, homogeneous colour, emphasising the quality of the material and the workmanship. It is a versatile and refined piece, suitable for both classic and contemporary environments.
