Biedermeier 19th Century Cherrywood Dining Table/ Center Table, Austria ca. 1830
Located in Lichtenberg, AT
Charming round Biedermeier dining/ center table from the renowed period in Austria around 1830. A wonderful handcrafted 19th century so-called "vase table" standing on an artfully designed, bulbous cherry veneered base. The absolutely amazing looking round table plate impresses with fine mirrormatched cherrywood which builds an outstanding pattern. The highlight of this remarkable Biedermeier table is the inlay work in the center: an ebonized round field with a lovely floral design and the German words taken from the Lord´s Prayer: "unser tegliches Brot gib uns heute" - meaning: "give us this day our daily bread...
