About the Item
Quintessential 19th century country French farmhouse dining table or harvest table crafted from fruitwood. The table features a long 1 inch thick plank top having breadboard ends. The top is supported by a long trestle base fitted with storage drawers on each end having round patinated iron pulls. The trestle has thick square legs that have been chamfered conjoined by a long stretcher. Constructed from fruitwood with a warm, dark honey-toned color and fine woodgrains. Crafted with mostly old world style wood peg joinery. The table is solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The fruitwood has a desirable aged patina on the finish adding to its country farmhouse aesthetic. Ample leg room measuring 23.5 inches from the floor to the apron. - Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and construction. Lovely aged patina commensurate age and use as seen in photos. Age appropriate wear and fading with natural age cracks, chips, scuffs, shrinkage, and old repairs as expected. Prior insect holes.

Constructed with mostly wood peg joinery each end has a 10" inch overhang for diners and ample leg room measuring 23.5 inches from the floor to the apron.
