2000s Custom Round Dining Table with Macassar Wood Top and Steel Base, 48 inches
About the Item
This is a custom-designed round dining table with a Macassar Ebony top and a highly polished stainless steel base. It has Art Deco lines, with round polished steel rods welded to flat steel rims. The piece is substantial, with the wooden veneer top recently refinished. Macassar Ebony, a heartwood that is indigenous to Indonesia, is a coveted species that features a dramatically striped grain.
This table measures 48 inches in diameter, and stands 30.25 inches tall. The top has been freshly refinished, though perhaps a few small scratches remain. The base is shiny and has very little wear. Overall, this table is in excellent condition. Please see photos.
