By Paul Laszlo

Visionary Paul Laszlo designed this mid-century table lamp for Brown Saltman during the 1950s in the United States. It has a wood body adorned with Laszlo's chest pattern, reminiscent of his famed "Basket Weave" furniture line. Geometry and volumes take center stage with its rectangular structure for the foot and base and tube-shaped shade. Paul Laszlo (1900-1993) was a Hungarian-born American interior designer known for his luxurious and influential work during the mid-20th century. Laszlo's clientele included Hollywood stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Cary Grant, and Barbara Stanwyck.
