Italian Mid-19th Century Center Table in Mecca and Jaune de Sienne Marble
About the Item
A beautiful and most decorative Italian 19th century Baroque st. Mecca and Jaune de Sienne marble center/dining table. The table is raised by its impressive original Mecca base with striking richly carved scrolled fluted feet below hexagonal mottled supports and stunning family crest shaped legs with foliate and reeded tops. Each leg is connected by an elegantly turned stretcher with charming finely detailed foliate carvings and fine beaded and mottled bands. Above is the original Jaune de Sienne marble top showcasing the beautiful veins with a fine mottled border. All original Mecca throughout.
