About the Item

Maison Jansen Attributed Neoclassical Dining Table, France, Circa 1960s This neoclassical dining table, attributed to Maison Jansen, France, circa 1960s, combines clean architectural lines with rich materials. The frame is made of brushed metal and features brass accents, including inset trim and diamond-shaped corner appliqués, which lend the piece a refined yet bold character. The tapered legs end in brass sabots and decorative collars, reinforcing its neoclassical roots. This offering consists of two pieces: the neoclassical mixed-metal base and a thick, removable glass top measuring 60 inches long by 38 inches wide, with an overall height of 30 inches. The frame is designed to support a larger or different top if desired—glass or stone options (not provided) could be used for a custom installation. A versatile piece, this table works equally well as a dining table, executive desk, or center table. Its blend of industrial and classical elements makes it ideal for a range of interiors, from mid-century to contemporary or traditional. In very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. The construction is solid, and the finish retains its original character, showing the quality and style associated with Maison Jansen’s work.
