Hans J. Wegner 'CH327' Dining Table in Oak and Oil for Carl Hansen & Son
By Carl Hansen & Søn, Hans J. Wegner
Located in Glendale, CA
Hans J. Wegner 'CH327' Dining Table in Oak and Oil for Carl Hansen & Son The story of Danish Modern begins in 1908 when Carl Hansen opened his first workshop. His firm commitment to beauty, comfort, refinement, and craftsmanship is evident in iconic pieces designed by such legends as Hans J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, Vilhelm Lauritzen and others. Now in its third generation as a family run business, Carl Hansen & Son maintains its legacy through skillful work with the highest quality materials, sustainably producing Danish design classics by past icons and influential new designers. Originally designed in 1962 by legendary creator Hans J. Wegner, the 'CH327' table appears to float above the frame courtesy of wonderfully tapered edges which add to this table's appeal. Smooth clean lines express a delicate yet confident piece resulting in an alluring table...

Angelo Mangiarotti 'Castore' Dining Table by Karakter
By Angelo Mangiarotti
Located in Berlin, DE
The diameter given applies to the table top. The base measures 38cm in diameter. Castore is a glass and marble table by Italian architect, sculptor and designer Angelo Mangiarotti. Designed in 1975 for Sorgente dei Mobili, the distinct design is now presented by Karakter. The round glass top rests on a heavy marble pillar, and visually, Mangiarotti would have it seem that only a small marble bowl on top of the glass plate is holding it in place. The rounded corners on both the pillar and the bowl ads a sense of softness to the otherwise heavy aesthetics of the marble. The marble bowl can be removed and used as an individual element. 1960s Scandinavian Modern Danish Solid Teak Round Dining Table
By Hans J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Eero Saarinen
Located in Grand Cayman, KY
Very elegant 1960s round dining table Made in Denmark, unusually constructed from solid teak wood (not veneered). Quintessential Scandinavian Modern design: minimal, fine materials, highly practical, clean smooth lines, sturdy construction and timeless aesthetic. The table has a diameter of 40 in (100 cm) and a single leg, which achieves an uncluttered appearance under the table and buttressing into four feet that rise a low profile parallel to the floor. This leg form in teak bears a striking resemblance to the iconic La Fonda base by Charles Eames, which was cast in Aluminum. Table height is standard 28.5 in (72 cm). The leg and feet are also carved from beautiful solid, strait grained teak. The table has been professionally refinished in a hard wax oil which faithfully presents the original look and feel whilst providing contemporary levels of robust protection. The table has only extremely minor signs of wear considering the age and use. This timeless table shows every promise of gracing a kitchen or dining room for another 60 years, and then some. The contemporaneous cognac leather shell chairs...
