Tubby Tube Small Dining Table with Black Steel Frame by Faye Toogood
By Please Wait to be Seated, Faye Toogood
Located in Brooklyn, NY
Clear, no-nonsense lines and a sturdy steel frame. Faye Toogood has an eye for removing clutter, and her sculpted designs celebrate the rural past even as they partake of the urban contemporary and look towards the future. You can see this trademark fusion of traditional and contemporary in the way the sheer lines of the tabletop (18 mm thin, of Oregon pine, Black or Navy Blue stained ash) seem to float above the subtly rounded black steel or raw aluminum frames. The Tubby Tube table, builds on the motifs of the same designer’s iconic Spade chair, with tubular legs that evoke the down-to-earth strength and practicality of garden implements...

Hans J. Wegner 'CH327' Dining Table in Oak and Oil for Carl Hansen & Son
By Carl Hansen & Søn, Hans J. Wegner
Located in Glendale, CA
Hans J. Wegner 'CH327' Dining Table in Oak and Oil for Carl Hansen & Son The story of Danish Modern begins in 1908 when Carl Hansen opened his first workshop. His firm commitment to beauty, comfort, refinement, and craftsmanship is evident in iconic pieces designed by such legends as Hans J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, Vilhelm Lauritzen and others. Now in its third generation as a family run business, Carl Hansen & Son maintains its legacy through skillful work with the highest quality materials, sustainably producing Danish design classics by past icons and influential new designers. Originally designed in 1962 by legendary creator Hans J. Wegner, the 'CH327' table appears to float above the frame courtesy of wonderfully tapered edges which add to this table's appeal. Smooth clean lines express a delicate yet confident piece resulting in an alluring table...

Angelo Mangiarotti 'Castore' Dining Table by Karakter
By Angelo Mangiarotti
Located in Berlin, DE
The diameter given applies to the table top. The base measures 38cm in diameter. Castore is a glass and marble table by Italian architect, sculptor and designer Angelo Mangiarotti. Designed in 1975 for Sorgente dei Mobili, the distinct design is now presented by Karakter. The round glass top rests on a heavy marble pillar, and visually, Mangiarotti would have it seem that only a small marble bowl on top of the glass plate is holding it in place. The rounded corners on both the pillar and the bowl ads a sense of softness to the otherwise heavy aesthetics of the marble. The marble bowl can be removed and used as an individual element. Material: Pillar and bowl in marble, table top in 10mm tempered glass, felt underneath the pillar, cork underneath the bowl. Finish: Marbles: Bianco Carrara, Nero Marquina or Pietra Grey...

Iconic Danish Midcentury Rosewood Dining Table
By Helge Vestergaard-Jensen, H. Sigh & Søns Møbelfabrik AS
Located in London, GB
This table is 190cm long when extended and 140cm long when butterfly extension leaf is folded under the table top. All surfaces have been lightly sanded to even out any variation in colour between the main halves and the extension leaf. All surfaces have then been re-lacquered to make water resistant. This table has been attributed by some sellers on 1stdibs and some experts to Helge Vestergaard Jensen. I have in my possession both the table documented as designed by Helge Vestergaard Jensen (not for sale in this listing) and, obviously, this table for sale here in this listing. The design and construction are significantly different. I have seen this design with a label from H Sigh and Sonner...
