About the Item

Rodolfo Dordoni Longplane For Cassina Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, a dining table with striking aesthetic balance, formed by crisp lines and precise proportions. A slender, light shape that is accentuated in the extendable version. A fusion of elegance and functionality, Longplane is distinguished by the flexibility of its shapes and the opulence of its materials and finishes. The extendable table is available with top in wood or metal and extensions that match the finish of the structure. Among the extendable design tables, this one is distinguished by its graphic impact and the fine joinery details apparent in the joint between the legs and the massive horizontal beam. TOP In MDF veneered in Canaletto walnut, natural oak or stained black or amaranth; in metal painted pewter with striated effect; in polished or matte marble (only for the stationary table). LEGS AND BEAM In Canaletto walnut solid wood, natural oak or stained black or amaranth colour. EXTENSIONS In wood. A fresh new design by Rodolfo Dordoni adds to the Cassina dining collection: the Longplane extendable table. Distinguished by a graphic design and striking aesthetic balance formed by crisp lines and precise proportions, its long, lean shape incorporates Cassina’s trademark fine artisan joinery skills, apparent in the joint between the legs and the massive horizontal beam. The solid wood structure, available in Canaletto walnut and natural oak, stained black or amaranth colour, effortlessly supports the ample, thin table top. Longplane adds a touch of refinement to the home, leaving room for various types of decor interpretations. Available in three different sizes, the top of the stationary version can be paired with wood legs for an all-wood look, or in an ample array of types of marble, or in the most refined metal embellished with a striated effect. In the extendable version with wood or metal top, the extensions match the finish of the wood structure; a true fusion of elegance, flexibility and functionality.
