About the Item

This iconic „Spider“ coffee table, model H-259, was designed in 1959 by renowned Czech designer Jindřich Halabala. It was later mass-produced in the 1960s by the United Arts and Crafts Enterprises (UP Závody) in Brno, one of the most significant Czechoslovak furniture manufacturers. The table is made of mahogany and beech wood, featuring a square top with rounded corners supported by four elegantly curved outward-facing legs. This distinctive organic shape gives the piece a sense of lightness and timeless elegance. Thanks to its iconic design, the „Spider“ table is a highly sought-after collector’s item and a beautiful addition to both historical and modern interiors.
