A very well made and decorative table, this is one of the finest quality examples of this type of table you will see anywhere, it is the only malachite painted example I have ever seen. Faux painting was usually reserved for marble, it was called marbled and in the Georgian to Victorian era it was considered the height of elegance, it showed you were up to date with all the latest fashions when it came to Country house and estate furniture
This table is super French by design and super decorative! I absolutely love it, as a normal table it seats 4-6 and extended 8 with ease
Condition wise, it is an antique French painted table so will naturally have age and use related patina as you would hope to find
