Swedish Gustavian Extendable Dining Table Mid-20th Century 8 10-Seat
About the Item
Swedish Gustavian extendable dining table which extends from a round 115 cm approximately to 265 cm long with three leaves. Note on these original tables, the extra leaves do not carry a decorative side bar - only the main table itself.
Probable mid/later 20th century and in good structural condition - It has been repainted in Farrow and ball wevet by hand.
It has the Classic Gustavian fluted legs and rosettes and Gustavian ribbed detail with a border going around the table edge- these are rare and are only found on the top end models. We can add a decorative strip for you on the leaves if you want to the leaves for an extra cost.
The construction is very solid so it is great for everyday use and the extension sliders will be serviced prior to shipping.
Seats 4 unextended and a possible 8-10 seats extended - depending on your place settings number of leaves and chair sizes.
We can repaint in a color of your choice for an extra cost.
