Introducing a rare and elegant extension dining table crafted in Denmark in the 1970s by the renowned Skovby Møbelfabrik furniture manufacturer.
Constructed from premium solid and veneered Brazilian Rosewood, this extension dining table boasts a durable and high-quality construction that will stand the test of time and features a sleek and timeless design that will elevate any dining space. Easily expanding to an incredible full length of 126" this table can easily accommodate up to twelve guests comfortably. The two leaves also stow inside the table for ultra convenient storage.
Skovby Møbelfabrik was founded in 1933 by Danish cabinetmaker Thorvald Rasmussen. He was a visionary designer who introduced innovative and complex designs to the Danish Modern aesthetic usually known for being minimalist and spartan in appearance. He was uncompromising and professionally proud, and from the start produced furniture of the highest quality. Skovby is still family-owned and producing pieces and variations of the DC06 in Denmark to this day - a testament to the staying power of a company focused on uncompromising material use and innovative, functional designs.

This gorgeous extension dining table is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection! The mix of solid and veneered Brazilian rosewood composition is in remarkably excellent shape given it's age showing only minor nicks and one small (approx 1 inch in length) area of minor discoloration which can be seen in the detail photos provided. With that said there are no gouges, deep scratches or other wear present whatsoever and the variegated woodgrains of the rosewood are absolutely mesmerizing in natural light. Both leaves easily extend and contract and conveniently stow in the table.
This extra-large Danish-made dining table is highly functional, structurally sound and ready for a literal lifetime more of use. Please view all photos for details on this table's current condition.
