About the Item
Antique French Louis XVI Oval Nightstand ~ End Table with Onyx Top is ideal for almost any room! Finished all around, it can be placed anywhere including the center of the room for all to appreciate. Hand-crafted from fine French walnut, it was designed in an oval form eliminating any corners, and was topped with luxuriously veined onyx for incredible elegance. Four tapered and fluted legs provide support, and the case work is fitted with a single drawer and cabinet, framed by laurel carvings and fitted with brass hinges and pull knobs. A floral garland appears in fine relief across the door panel. Door opens to reveal a ceramic lined interior.

Oval in shape and finished all around, they're perfect for placement anywhere in the room. On top, luxurious neutral colored marble provides a carefree surface. The marble is framed by fine molding, which rests atop the casework consisting of a drawer and cabinet door, with one having a left-handed door and the other a right-handed door. The drawers and doors are all accessed with brass knobs, and feature tailored molded framing detail.
