Our culture started gravitating to this modern aesthetic in the 1940's and 50's as we yearned for something new and different, not of our parents or grandparents style. Well we found it, most any decade in the 20th century has a style associated with modern in one form or another. This fine table in fact, takes styling ques from several design aspects and it's finished impeccably.
