This is an authentic copy of a circa 1840s Italian Farm Table that we produce in our Old Plank Workshop. The lumber for the top is imported from France and averages between 20 to 40 years old. All of the wood is naturally air dried for a minimum of nine years to prevent cracking and shrinkage. Rustic English Victorian style painted farmhouse dining table or harvest table featuring a mahogany extending top with two 18 inch leaves. The table measures 108 inches long with two leaves, 90 inches long with one leaf, and 72 inches long with no leaves installed. The top measures 2.5 inches thick with a detailed ogee edge. Ample legroom measuring over 25 inches from the floor to the apron. The top is supported by painted thick, chunky 6 inch wide square legs with a turned form and whimsical Victorian style fluting.
