About the Item
Ca. 18th-19th century A long wood farm table with an overhanging three plank top constructed with dowels over a frieze with two drawers one on each end and one hinged drawer in the center. Two drawers are lacking the brass ring pulls. The entire frieze is made in sections with dowels and has a carved molding that sits on top of the legs. Raised on heavy ring turned legs.
Measures: L. 80", Depth 36", H. 31 3/4"
Condition: Please see the photos for details of the condition. The table is heavily worn overall from many years of use. The top has time-softened gouges and stains with a round white circular mark and the frieze is very worn and stained, the front center frieze molding has a stable age crack, both left legs also with stable age cracks which do not diminish the strong and authentic presentation.
