Louis XVI Mahogany Tric Trac Table By C.C Saunier

About the Item

With a rectangular reversible top with tooled green leather opening to a backgammon board. Raised on circular tapered fluted legs with bronze sabots. Drawer on each side for game pieces. Claude Charles Saunier has pieces in the collection of the Louvre in Paris, Chateau Fontainebleau, Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris. Metropolitan Museum, New York etc. Stamped on underside C.C. Saunier.
