This nineteenth century French Louis Philippe period ash gueridon or pedestal side table features a 31.5 inch diameter multi beveled top. A central turned pillar supports the top and rests on a tripod base. The table top tilts down, allowing the piece to be placed flat against a wall. An ideal table to place beside a chair, sofa, or bed, circa 1830-1848.
