Mid-19th Century French Restauration Period Mahogany and Marble Pedestal Table
About the Item
This mid-nineteenth century French Restauration period mahogany gueridon or pedestal table features a beveled Saint Anne marble top. Its 32 inch diameter top is supported by a faceted central pillar that rests on a tripod base. Its three legs are decorated with large scrolls and shells and rest on claw feet. An ideal center table with a beautiful, warm patina, circa 1840.
