French Industrial Inspired Kitchen Island from the Old Plank Collection Options
About the Item
Another edition to our French Industrial Old Plank Kitchen Island & Work Table collection. When you examine one of our Industrial French inspired kitchen islands or work tables, try to think of a child’s tinker toy set and that makes the options for your Industrial inspired kitchen island virtually endless. Not only can you change all the dimensions, but you can change the tubing from stainless steel as shown, to painted steel, bronze or brass. The connectors, or as we call them, donuts, can be cast in bronze, brass or even silver plated. The upper countertop surface can be marble as shown, wood or butcher block, while the lower two shelves, can be fabricated in wood or marble. Lastly the lion paw feet and on this island are cast in solid brass using the old world lost-wax process of casting, which has been around for the last 6000-years. Alternatively, we can specify casters that can be permanently locked if so desired.
